Shaden Mhiliah is the winner of the simulation project

last Friday I’lam concluded "the Debate & simulation" project which began earlier this year. This project is a continuation and development of I’lam’s projects “the Pioneer” and the Debate, which were carried out by the Centre during the last four years with the support of the German Hans Seidel Foundation.
The Public simulation focused on the simulation of The Arab leading figures discussing boycott of Israel, and was supposed to provide each participant and share personal attitude or support the positions of other leaders and to convince the jury and the audience by matching his performance with the real leader.

 

Participants have simulated the following Leaders:
Mr. Mohammed Barakeh; Mr. Mazen Ghanayemm; K.M Ayman Odeh; Mr. Omar Barghouthi; Sheikh Raed Salah; K.M Haneen Zoubi; K.M Aida Touma; Mr. Raja Aghbariah; K.M Masoud Ghanayem; K.M Yousef Jabarin; K.M Ahmed Taibi; K.M Basil Ghattas; and Sheikh Kamal Khatib.
After listening to all the speeches the participants was allowed to respond or comment on other speeches, then the jury, consisting of Prof. Amal Jamal ; lawyer Awni Banna and Ms. Ola Najami Evaluated the participants performances.
At the end of the simulation the jury announced "Best Simulation" awards: first place gone to participate Shaden Mhiliah who won a prize of 2500 NIS, and the second place gone to Razan Shalabi who won a prize valued 1,500 NIS , and in the third Fadwa Daghash who won a prize valued 1,000 NIS.
